JP Weber advises Hyundai Motor Securities on the planned construction of the photovoltaic farm in Poland
JP Weber team advises Hyundai Motor Securities (HMS), a Korean financial investor, who has approached construction project of the photovoltaic farm in Poland with a capacity of 200 MW, located in tureckie county.
Analyses of the Polish market have been going on since October last year, and talks about the project in the tureckie county began two months ago. HMS also takes into account other European countries, but it is Poland that seems to offer the greatest opportunities for the development of photovoltaics, taking into account available sources of public support for new projects. The investment parties are currently at the stage of signing a letter of intent.
It is the first project that HMS is going to implement in Poland. HMS declared that it is also his first step to the development of the photovoltaic industry in our country and expressed its willingness to extend its business area not only RES in Poland but i.a. also hydroelectric power plants. HMS also hopes that more Korean companies are interested in investing in Poland.
JP Weber's support for this project includes comprehensive due diligence, legal advisory and participation in the negotiation on the Joint-Venture Agreement. The work is managed by Marcin Dudarski PhD, Managing Partner of JP Weber.
"We are delighted to be able to support another major Asian investor. The information about the new investment is all the more good because it means an accelerated development of clean energy production in Poland, and thus protection of our natural environment and faster implementation of European Commission guidelines. It may be also a strong impulse for other foreign companies that in the era of Covid-19 pandemic it is not only possible, but even necessary to continue the implementation of investment plans. Korea is doing very well in controlling the coronavirus epidemic and should also be an example to be followed by the rest of the world in this respect.” – says Marcin Dudarski, PhD, Managing Partner at JP Weber.
